Implementation Business Analyst at Equus Software
Bachelor of Information Technology at Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Equus Software is a recognized innovator and leader in global workforce management solutions. My job is never boring— I’ve always been learning a lot of things every day from business analysis, configuration and project management, client relationship management, etc. which is exemplary in contributing to my personal growth while enhancing the company’s productivity and reputation.
I do have some limited professional experiences already before I work here in Equus Software, as an Intern as a Project Manager and Jr. Consultant in a consultancy services firm which helps different organizations in their accreditation for Internal Organization for Standardization (ISO) and worked as a project-based employee from another consultancy services, broking, and solutions company as an Application Configuration Analyst. I can consider working with Equus Software as my first job where I was hired as a full-time employee and have been here for more than a year already, a job full of opportunities, growth, knowledge, and experiences.
Yes, being a Business Analyst is a very diverse field where any profession can cope up with as long as you are keen on business analysis and project management while having a passion for being into technology. Equus Software also provides a very thorough onboarding to new hires which ensures the success of new employees.
Well, working in this kind of field is full of perks and opportunities. There are opportunities to conduct international onsite visits and work in a very diverse culture and attitude of different types of employees. I was hired in the middle of the pandemic and I am looking forward to meeting my co-workers and clients in person once it is safe to travel.
I’m a Business Analyst supporting the Implementation Team and working in this kind of phase of the project is somehow tough yet interesting and challenging at the same time. During this stage, a lot of business processes and workflows need to be analyzed, some can be configured using direct solutions yet some may require custom solutions. This may be the time you need some support system and collaboration on how to implement practical solutions while meeting the client’s requirements and without compromising the quality of your work.
If I will be given a chance to meet the student-version of mine, I will definitely advise him to:
