8.6
8.6 rating for Management, based on 8 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
I have complete confidence in my managers in prioritising my wellbeing and development. I feel very supported in my role and often get provided with performance feedback and recognition for my work.

Managers are great and the communication and leadership can be felt to every single person. Approach to communication is good and they paired us up very well I believe. Can feel the support from all leaders I believe, even if they are not your leaders.

I think the managers are very accessible but not always the perfect mentors. They are open and friendly with the team but sometimes struggle to address performance feedback or praise/recognition effectively and to provide support when challenges arise at client site.

Review previous answers. We could do better by providing regular, structured feedback from engagement leads. Everything else is great.

Escient’s managers are very accessible, and always want individuals to achieve their goals. My pod lead is a great mentor, he is very transparent with performance feedback and sees great value in the avenues we have for praise and recognition. Furthermore, he work very hard to ensure internal communications are consistent and timely given that some individuals may be on client site.

Management at Escient is very strong and accessible. They make good mentors as they want to see you succeed and share in that when it happens. Internal communication is honest and direct with clear performance feedback and supportive praise/recognition.

Escient's leaders are pretty great. They're all approachable and personable. You have the ability to build a relationship with your pod lead in a way that works for your style and theirs. Because they're only responsible for a small number of team members they have the time to get to know you and really understand how to optimise your experience.
