What you will do:

  • Verify accounting documents and audit validity of payment request and ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors and posting of entries.
  • Reconcile vendor ledger accounts and manage aging of outstanding balances and monitor and reconcile daily payment to retailers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of GL entries for processed payments and assist partners and merchants for payment inquiries and concerns.
  • Prepare GL reconciliation schedule for accounts related to settlements.
  • Prepare Statement of Accounts for different producers and manage vital receivables and collections of the business such as subsidy income.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent; Fresh graduate to 1 year of working experience in the related field
  • At least 1-2 years experience in treasury or disbursement/Accounts Payable/Settlements process.
  • Preferably with experience working in SAP
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Office 365)
  • Agile and can easily adapt to new process or changes in process and Excellent communication skills (assertiveness/confidence), ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholders.

Pros

  • Everyone is so supportive and I'm grateful for their trust in me which gives me the confidence in my work.

  • The work-life balance here is great. It emphasizes flexibility, which helps me manage my time effectively.

  • What I can say in HC is they really live up to their tagline 'No small roles, everyone is important.

  • The bootcamp was a great help in adapting to the work environment, with sessions and a project simulating our future work setup.

  • HC is very output based... you just have to make sure that you're doing your job correctly.

Cons

    • The thing I like the least about working in my company is when colleagues micromanage me.

    • The distance from my home to the office takes me around 2 to 3 hours of travel time.

    • Sometimes I have tight deadlines and it can be stressful, but it helped me improve my skills.

    • Our office is clean and very conducive for work. However, I feel like it no longer fits us all.

    • Not so much, occasionally having weekend duty and night activity.
