Application Process & Interviews at Home Credit Philippines

Interview process is fast and clear in my experience. There are guidelines provided with the next steps and requirement needed.

It was fast and the questions during the interviews from HR and the team that I joined are fairly reasonable for an interview and a role for a fresh graduate.

It was smooth overall. The company helped me in processing some of the documents and requirements for hiring process. There are structures in hiring process so it's not confusing at all. They also deliver results in a reasonable amount of time as well.

Smooth process and my recruiter is always updating me regarding the updates.

My set of interviews and assessments were scheduled in a very organized and timely manner. Albeit rather quickly, the process was overall satisfactory.

The interview process started with a phone screening that I only introduces myself. After the initial screening I was interviewed at their office an was given a coding challenge and technical interviews with a senior developer. And after that day, I also got an email about the result of my interview.

Everyone I encountered during the process was kind and warm. I immediately felt at home.

The interview process and assessments were seamless. HR recruiter even gave me tips on what to expect during the interview. Assessments were done online so it was very convenient. Interview was onsite. What I like the most is that the interview questions were relevant to the role and the work setting (agile-scrum). Interviewers were very accommodating as well to the questions I had about the company and the role.

The process was well-organized from recruitment, interview, job offer to onboarding.

The interview process was smooth and was organized properly. Almost everything was communicated well to me and they are very open question and queries.

Everything is smooth from invitation to actual interviews, onboarding process, and there is really utilization of technology.

Hiring process is fast, and you can get your result quickly as the recruiting officer is always open for communication. Assessments depends on the role, but the interview process is great and done in the office.

My experience in hiring process here is that it takes a bit long. It takes almost two months before I officially work. The first part of the hiring process is a phone assessment. After that you will be given a set of exam related to your applied position and some logical reason type of exam. After that, you will be interviewed by your soon to be manager. If the interview is a success, job offer will be sent to you, this includes work salary and benefits. Once you accepts the job offer, you'll be asked to pass the necessary requirement for employment and as soon as you complete those requirements, you will be given your work schedule and your first day schedule.

The whole employment process is fast.

The interview process is good itself. Assessments are easy to understand, and interviews with the people that we will work for are not hostile.

The interview process was quick as well as the assessments. I gotten to be interviewed by HR & the hiring manager within the day. They were nice to talk to and was very friendly when I first met them. They got back to me quickly, and that is one of the things that I appreciate about the company.

In my experience, more on behavioral and situational questions aside from the technical questions.

I was asked what I knew about the company by HR. For technical questions, I was asked the basic stuff about the tools and processes that I am now using within the team.

I was asked first on the basic requirements/ qualifications that they need. and they focus more on EQ questions since they say that a worker can learn the technical stuff but cannot change the attitude quite easily.

Describe yourself, the role, scenarios problem, and the differences etc.

I was asked about my experiences, challenges encountered, and how I was able to overcome them, including the lessons I learned from such.

What was my understanding about software testing - How would I test a pen - How would I classify or differentiate bug priority and severity - Was I familiar with project management tools like JIRA - I was more on asked about my past experience because I also interned as a QA tester

Most of the questions were to test my analytical thinking and logical reasoning.

I ask about how I performed during the interview. Asking for a feedback.

1. Past work - role, responsibilities, tools used 2. What do I know about the company 3. the reason for leaving my previous company 4. expectations 5. Amendable to go onsite

The interview questions revolve mostly about my internship experience since this is my first full-time job. My internship experience is a bit similar with the job description of the position I was applying to, that is why it is a big factor why I got hired. The manager also asked me on my expectations if I will be able to working with them. The manager also state some workplace situational questions and how would I deal with those if ever I have to encounter them.

Be prepared to the preliminary requirements, technical questions, behavioral and situational questions, and proper attire.

Just prepare for the technical interview based on the requirements for the job. Our team also values a good personality as much as we value technical skill.

They need to be aware of the visons of this company as well as you need to be able to adapt in various environments because we have a lot of expats that they will be working here once they enter Home Credit,

Be confident and trust yourself.

Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses, including the experiences encountered before. Especially highlight ones which caused the most impact in your mindset and behavior.

Just be honest. They are very understanding and really want to help you get the job.

Be prepared for behavioral questions like how would you react on certain situations with regards on working with other people. Be prepared to share everything you've done during your internship and why you want to pursue this role in HC. For technical things, be prepared to QA a sample website and to perform basic database queries

The tips I can give to candidates applying to our company are to be well-prepared before the interview. They need to show enthusiasm for the position they are applying for and provide evidence of their skills and experience.

If there is, I think it would be "Be confident and don't be scared of asking questions."

In my case, be always prepared on possible interview questions that relates your role that you applying for. It is always important that you have prior knowledge before you proceed. Be punctual and do your best.

My advice is to choose a position that is aligned with their previous ones, since related work experiences is a big factor to get hired.

One helpful tip is to know about yourself and what you can bring to the table. Be enthusiastic and positive that you are eager to learn new things and challenges motivate you to strive more.
