I am not really sure where I can go, or how to get there, or who to talk to.

A few past grads are in the team I'm in currently, as well as one of the senior leaders is a past grad, I'm sure there are many more i don't know about so it's certainly possible

Having been here for only 6 months, I can't speak much to moving up the ranks. Because the graduate program has structured rotations throughout the 3 year contract, "moving up the ranks" probably happens after the program. It is very unlikely to not secure a permanent position upon the completion of the program. Although you can sometimes be offered a permanent position you finish the 3 years.
