Junior Operations Analyst - Holdings Operations (Rolling Intake)

Governance offerings include objective governance research and recommendations, and end-to-end proxy voting and distribution solutions. Institutional clients have long turned to ISS to apply their corporate governance views, identify environmental, social and governance risks, and manage their complete proxy voting needs on a global basis. ISS covers approximately 44,000 meetings in 115 countries yearly, delivering proxy research and vote recommendations while working closely with clients to execute more than 10.2 million ballots representing 4.2 trillion shares.

The Holdings Analyst will be responsible for supporting and maintaining existing data feeds, assist in troubleshooting client issues, implementing functional features, and monitoring and loading data. The Holdings Analyst will need to leverage his/her experience working with clients to provide a high level of service.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively communicate with teammates and global clients regarding the status of production processes
• Monitor the processes by which information and data are added to or exported from production systems through electronic data feeds and other media
• Maintain data to ensure the quality of mission-critical information using both proprietary applications and commonly used business software applications
• Monitor quality control metrics to identify potential data issues and taking ownership of resolution for all issues that are identified

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to self-manage projects
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel
