Culture at Integrated Computer Systems

It is pleasing and amusing.

With regards to the culture in office, everything is pretty much as expected but the work standard becomes inconsistent when it comes to catering to the different standards people setup. Some of these standards will have you needing to work beyond your own working hours which can disrupt your work-life balance immensely.

Positives: The company and certain departments always conduct events to accommodate and show appreciation to its employees. E.g. Events, Spa, Restaurants, Raffles. Employee hard work is often appreciated through events or a mini celebration. Team leads are very accommodating in addressing concerns work or non-work related. Building relationships not just professionally but also personally. Negatives: The company still works under the same culture in certain processes regarding work distribution and coursing tasks/concerns through proper channels. Choosing convenience over a streamlined approach results in disruption in workflow. Management or superiors are open and listen to issues however not all concerns are heard. Dealing with change is not a smooth transition for every company but ICS shows progress. Formal OT is discouraged but seniors/clients expect the deliverables to be completed within overnight or on short notice therefore employee tends to do unpaid work. Since seniors/superiors work beyond office hours so they expect you to do the same.

THE BEST THING WORKING AT ICS IS BECAUSE OF A KIND, TOUGHTFUL AND HELPFUL SUPERVISOR. FUNNY WORKMATES NO ENEMY NO STRESS IM JUST HAPPY BEING PART OF THE IT TEAM.

In my case, I can deal with my boss with transparency. Our environment here is friendly and accommodating. We help each other in every activities we facilitate/conduct. Outside our department, you can also feel that others are easy to talk to, nice, and you can collaborate with.

Regarding our company culture, I am very pleased with how approachable everyone is, including the managers, supervisors, and even the vice president, especially when we need their signatures. Although not everyone is approachable, I find that interacting with them a never a struggle one. Additionally, my colleagues have been consistently supportive and welcoming, which has made my transition into the company smooth and enjoyable. This positive environment fosters a sense of camaraderie and makes me feel like a valued part of the team
