Job Summary

As a Senior Information Risk Management Analyst of IT Security & Business Resilience, you will be responsible for supporting the IT First Line Governance team in the delivery of our Global Path to Green Program.
A successful candidate in this role will demonstrate strong proficiency in analytics and reporting, with experience in Information Technology Risk. The Senior Information Risk Management Analyst role will be able to interpret Global Risk Standards, track and measure requirements independently with input from our GWAM IT partners. Candidate should be comfortable with organizing large datasets from various sources – and summarizing in a excel pivot, PowerBI format, or similar method. The candidate will demonstrate intermediate to expert level knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI) and database administration is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct information requests, assessments and system/log monitoring activities.

• Provide clear weekly reports that tracks our Path to Green program metrics.

• Attend and potentially lead discussions with our Global and Segment partners

• Execute documented process workflows to deliver ISM and general IRM services.

• Maintain content within Information Risk Management systems.

• Update IRM documentation as required.

• Work with all levels of the organization to perform assigned duties.

• Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across IRM

• Work closely with and take direction from First Line Risk leads in-addition to Global partners.

• Work independently on assigned tasks while providing regular progress updates.

• Communicate via email, chat and telephone with globally dispersed coworkers and clients.

• Deliver on ad-hoc reports/requests.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong focus and attention to detail in both normal and high-pressured situations.

• Effective administrative and analytical skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• High proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and collaboration tools (e.g., Yammer and Skype).

• Working knowledge of IRM principles in one or more related areas is nice to have (Information Security Management, Technology Risk Management & Business Continuity Management).

• Knowledge of and experience with IT principles, operations and processes are important.

• Exposure to financial services or similar complex large corporate environments with the depth and complexity comparable to Manulife Financial.

• Hands-on experience as an IT Systems, Security or Risk Analyst is an asset.

• Basic knowledge in PowerBI and database management is preferred.
