Job description

The Research Statistician is responsible for providing assistance to the Foundation’s researchers in data selection, analysis and interpretation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists researchers (Consultants, Resident Trainees and Medical students) in preparing and conducting research activities such as:

1.1. Identification of appropriate statistical tests;
1.2. Data collection, analysis, and interpretation;
1.3. Setup of statistical software tool and inputting of data;
1.4. Case presentation;
1.5. Application for Fellowship grants and other funding institutions.

2. Monitors progress and completion of research proposals and research papers.
3. Organizes research papers to ensure compliance with standards for publication in the Philippine Scientific Journal.
4. Compiles, keeps and maintains updated files of research materials for reference.
5. Ensures availability of office supplies and equipment.
6. Ensures cleanliness and safety of the premises at all times.
7. Performs other related functions assigned by superiors.
