Your role

Under general supervision (but works most of the time independently) focuses on the resolution of complex transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines and/or processes. Full ownership for one or more processes, reports and/or procedures. Analytically and procedurally competent, representing the team on the cross-function processes or project deliverables. Emerging as an expert in a specific skill set but remaining focused primarily on daily execution. Maybe in the final stages of studying for relevant professional qualifications or accreditation.

Training & development

The Northern Trust Rotational Development Program is designed to develop the technical skills, business acumen, and leadership abilities of new or recent graduates. During the one- to two-year program, participants will have the opportunity to perform meaningful assignments in various rotations while gaining a broader perspective along with exposure to the leadership of the different departments within each chosen career track. Each track is aligned to one of Northern Trust’s major divisions – Wealth Management, Corporate & Institutional Services, Asset Management, or Enterprise Enablement. After successfully completing the program, qualified associates will be placed into a role that best utilizes the experiences they have gained throughout their rotations.

About you

• A College or University degree and/or relevant work experience is preferred
• Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
• Analytical and problem solving skills are required
• Technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other business areas
