The staff physical therapist carries out the physical therapy procedures as prescribed by the physicians. He/ She collaborates with other members of the healthcare team in meeting the needs and problems of his/her patients.

• Interviews patients and his relatives/companions regarding present and past history of illness.
• Keeps accurate and complete records of patient’s data, Physical Therapy evaluation, progress notes and treatment programs.
• Carries out physical therapy procedures as prescribed by the physiatrist or OLLH orthopedic doctors and accredited physiatrists outside of OLLH.
• Clears with the physiatrist all direct referrals before carrying out prescriptions.
• Gives home instructions for follow-up therapy program and self-care activities as prescribed by the physiatrist.
• Records physical therapy evaluation and makes subsequent progress notes.
• Accomplishes all clinical data which are directly referred to Physical Therapy.
