Read more- Assists in installing, supporting, and maintaining the servers and the network of the hospital.
- Maintains updated documentation of the network configurations and a schematic diagram of the network infrastructure.
- Maintains a network port assignment schematic diagram. All network cabling should be tagged and identified.
- Monitors the performance of the network and troubleshoot problems such as slow performance, no connection, and network crashes.
- Checks and maintains all network cabling for the enterprise standard by using the new CAT6A UTP cable.
- Monitors all physical and virtual storage devices to ensure that we always have adequate storage space to maximize performance.
- Performs internal and offsite system backups.
- Performs system restore tests to make sure that the backup copies are working and are not corrupted
- Installs, configures and maintains security applications and resolves any warnings and/or problems that are detected by our security applications.
- Monitors the firewall for any potential threats detected and resolves warnings and threats.
- Adds, removes, and/or updates email user account information.
- Monitors and controls wireless and wired internet access.
- Installs, configures and maintains the monitoring of the 3CX IP phone system.
