2022 Deals Data Analytics Associate (Rolling Intake)

This role will support the M&A business, under the Deals servicing team, mainly focusing on due diligence within Transaction Services. As a key member in the Data Analytics team, you will handle large volume business data from a mergers and acquisitions perspective, in addition to supporting various deals projects, using ETL (extract, transform, load) methodologies. By means of data analytics, you are expected to utilize various data technologies including data visualisation, data mining, big data techniques, to identify key merger and acquisition pre-deal risks and issues to help our clients realize their deal value and continuously push their post-deal strategy going forward.

This position will report to Deals TS Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, transformation, modelling, data visualisation, benchmarking, and analysis, for mergers and acquisitions purposes

Qualification Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting or Finance-related course
• Essential Requirements:
  • Should be advanced students of Accounting, Economics, Finance or similar (typically 0-1 year of experience)
  • Has an above average GPA + advanced level of English
  • Should have aptitude for Excel, Alteryx, Power BI or other related tools for data extraction, manipulation and transformation
  • Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success in researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
• Other capabilities:
