The position is responsible for the preparation of landed cost monitoring, inventory reports and related accounts, facilitation of trade purchase orders release and clearing, reviews merchandise issuance requests and support the team in ensuring development and growth of the Company's business lines and brands
Inventory Accounting
• Prepares monthly GRIR & Inventory reconciliation
• Responsible for clearing of POs and corresponding importation costs
• Maintains schedules for Advances to Principal, and Advances to Suppliers relating to inventory purchases
• Prepares monthly sales & stocks report
• Prepares monthly principal invoice reconciliation
Product Costing and Pricing
• Prepares monthly landed cost and gross margin tracking report per SKU and per brand
• Reviews pricing analysis of company-owned brands
• Reviews monthly cost of sales per article and make adjustments when necessary
Management Reporting
• Prepares monthly merchandise inventory report
• Prepares monthly merchandise purchases per style
• Maintains and develops various financial models and standard templates for analysis and use by the Management
• Prepares all reports and schedules as required by the Immediate Supervisor, Group Head and Director
Financial Management System
• Maintains correct product costing through validation and timely approval of Trade and Non-trade Purchase Orders in the FMS including correct cost estimates
• Ensures correct charging of merchandise issuance requests with proper recognition of expenses and charging to the correct cost center
• Supports Merchandising, Marketing, Data Assurance, Audit and Warehouse by being the first point of contact for issues and questions on inventory cost accounting and merchandise issuances
