The Digital Media Buyer is incredibly knowledgeable in a wide range of digital marketing platforms, automation tools, and the latest tactics and trends, and has previously managed digital marketing initiatives in the consumer, retail, and services industries. The role is comfortable with data and can advise the team on which campaigns work/don't work based purely on empirical evidence on engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities:
• Digital advertising campaigns: conceptualize, deploy, and iterate Facebook ad campaigns and SEM campaigns.
• For Google: AdWords, GDN, and Remarketing. Be knowledgeable in basic SEO and how it relates to creating remarkable content.
• For Facebook: Awareness, lead generation, or direct conversion campaigns using custom audiences and lookalikes. Bonus: Experience using the Facebook Marketing API.
• Manage our editorial content platforms such as our consumer blog and email newsletters (for consumers, merchants, and partners). Run effective email-based campaigns.
• Work with cross-functional teammates in merchandising, product development, graphic design, and digital commerce to execute holistic campaigns.
• Run A/B tests across campaigns to optimize performance and report the results of these tests.
• Measure and report the performance of campaigns in accordance with KPIs and ROI objectives.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years in digital and/or integrated marketing roles, with increasing responsibilities.
• Industry experience in retail, consumer goods, fashion, e-commerce, marketplaces, services, in either in-house or agency roles.
• BS/MS degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
• Growth hacker mindset: Proven, hands-on experience working with common digital marketing platforms and tools, including but not limited to MailChimp, Facebook Pages, Ads & Business Manager, Shopify, Google Adwords, Hootsuite, Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Google Analytics, and other popular platforms.
• Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, direct marketing, email marketing, FB/IG and GDN advertising campaigns
• Experience identifying underserved target audiences and creating campaigns that engage, inspire, and motivate potential users to a desired action.
• UI/UX design/development experience. Understands how to optimize web pages, landing pages, and user funnels. Experience mapping content to the buyer's journey, to move leads from inquiry to opportunity and advocacy
• Analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
• Experience leading marketing projects and gathering content across crossfunctional teammates.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external business partners.
• Strong writer and communicator, with the ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization, and gain support for initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to strategize and execute without the need for further supervision.
• Advantages: Google Adwords or Analytics Certification, Facebook Blueprint Certification, SQL and advanced data analysis in Excel and experience with CRM platforms.
