Junior Accountant (Rolling Intake)

Your role

As a Junior Accountant, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end work papers – this includes reviewing transactions for each account to ensure they are coded correctly in compliance with regulatory standards and adjust as necessary. 
• Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of RE, notes to FS).
• Preparation of year-end adjusting entries. 
• Double checking uploaded documents and requesting any missing info for year-end support.  
• Exporting year-end uploads from clients from Karbon to OneDrive for documentation. 
• Exporting reports from QuickBooks clients for import in Xero for preparation of year-end work papers and financials. 
• Preparation of Corporate tax return using Tax Cycle. (tax software). 
• Minimal bookkeeping tasks (Xero)- bank reconciliation, AR, and AP review.
