Your role

Worley is seeking Instrumentation Engineering undergraduates in their penultimate year of study to participate in their paid 12-week summer internship program. The program runs from November 2024 to February 2025.

Selected interns will become part of the Worley Graduate Community, receiving supervision and mentorship from experienced staff within the instrumentation engineering department. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in delivering engineering services for both Worley and its clients.

What you’ll do:

• Participate in the delivery of instrumentation engineering services that meet Worley', its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget
• Assist in performing instrumentation engineering services such as contributing to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions, and assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports
• Communicate effectively with the instrumentation engineering team and project stakeholders

About you

What you’ll bring:

To be considered for this role you will need to be undertaking a recognized, relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a professional Engineer and be in your penultimate year of study.

Requirements:

• Some knowledge of technical and practical instrumentation engineering skills
• Some knowledge of the fundamental requirements of instrumentation engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields
• Developing skills in instrumentation engineering-specific software
• Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office
