The Role
As a Business Analyst working with Systems, Data, and the Client you will serve a key role for our outsourcing business by serving as the link between consultants and our internal team of system developers. You will contribute to the implementation of new services, and ongoing business by translating business needs into technical documentation for configuration, testing and developer references. You will support client consultations concerning best practices and provide ongoing technical support. The full-time position requires an individual who is comfortable with business and requirements analysis and working as part of a global team with counterparts in North America and Asia Pacific.
Performance Objectives:
- Ensure that all documentation is updated, adheres to standards, and aligns with client requirements.
- Attends client meetings relevant to the components they have responsibility for, to establish client relationship and ensure complete understanding.
- Responsible for system configuration based on client requirements.
- Responsible for testing system changes and enhancements to ensure completeness and accuracy. Regression testing is necessary based on the nature of the system change/enhancement.
- Work closely with the developer to ensure project requirements/requests for changes are understood and within standards.
- Follow best/standard practices.
- Aid team members were needed to help ensure issues are resolved by the assigned due date.
- Escalate concerns with the ability to meet due dates to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate ongoing processing requirements changes to Business Systems Administrator.
- Attend client requirements meetings as needed.
- Perform root cause analysis for existing issues and impact analysis for new functionality.
- Addresses data issues that impact system behaviour.
- Support training for a client on change requests to client, Benefits Outsourcing Center and Service Center, as needed.
The Requirements

- Fresh grads or Business Analysts with limited experience are encouraged to apply
- Ability to complete Willis Towers Watson Business Analyst training program
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills
- Knowledgeable with relational databases including SQL, Oracle, or Access
- Eager to learn test plan creation, testing procedures and test plan execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid interpersonal skills and client service orientation
- Ability to work both independently and on client teams, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regions
- Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple project priorities
- Sense of accountability, owning one’s work and taking pride in it; commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
