My favourite part of the day is to check my brands’ month-to-date sales to gauge how they’re performing for the month.

Currently, I am working with a team on a Work Process Improvement Project which aims to decrease production downtime due to the daily cleaning procedure being done on this machine.

There’s so much to learn that I get overwhelmed at times but I get that satisfaction when you figure out how the equipment works. It really gets me going and you really get to learn something new every day.

At 5.30 PM, [I had a] quick alignment with another intern to help with onboarding regarding screening and the general process of the team! Answered their questions too and other concerns they might have about both the role and Emma in general.

Bayer makes sure that we still have a chance to catch up and talk to our colleagues by setting up whiteboard sessions, engagement, and team meetings. This is also my favorite part of the day because I get to talk to my teammates after a busy morning and throw jokes with each other.

Currently, I am in solution discovery within the design process and for this cycle we are focussing on helping our users have visibility and control over one of the most important parts of their business, their Product Catalog.

My meetings can range from a huddle session with my co-GKAMs, an update report to my superior, a coaching session with my subordinates to check how they are progressing, or alignment meetings with other departments (marketing, accounting, logistics, etc.).
