What's your background?
Since my college days as an Accountancy major, I’ve been familiar with EY being one of the Big Four organizations across the globe and know of it through the local member firm. During one of the career orientation days in school, I saw how passionate their representatives are and I admired their spirit ever since. Fast forward to a few years later, an opportunity to join EY GDS came and I decided to apply.
What's the coolest thing about your job?
For me, I value the growth opportunities given to us as well as the flexibility. Ever since I joined the organization, I have been given roles that both challenged me as a professional and opened doors for me to be trained and developed. I even had the chance to visit EY GDS centres abroad. I also like the flexible work arrangement that we have as it allows me to have better work-life integration.
Aside from the training and certificates we get from completing EY Badges, the on-the-job training that EY GDS offers is top-notch. Interacting with professionals who come from different cultural backgrounds, I also learned new ways of handling challenges and improved my stakeholder management skills.
I am really proud of my EY Badges in Innovation for Agile and Design Thinking, as they’ve helped me advance my skills in process improvement and expand my perspectives on how to address challenges at work.
