My whole hiring process only took 1 week.

Quick hiring process

For me, the process was great because there was an HR interview followed by a manager interview, and then there was a deliberation to decide if I was accepted or not. After that, I just had to fill out a form before receiving the employment contract.

2 interviews only. Initial and final. Very smooth process.

Interview process was a nice experience. The submission for the onboarding requirements is a bit stressful for me as they don't really send out acknowledgement receipts for the files I already submitted.

After the initial phone call, there were 2 sets of interviews I went through. First was with SG managers, then the second one was with an SG partner and a Manila manager. The process was smooth; most of the interviews were them explaining the role to me, then seeing what kind of background knowledge I have regarding the overall nature of the work.

I’d say it was fast and convenient, I got my offer letter right away after the final Interview.

Questions are more focused on work ethic rather than technicalities and knowledge

During my interviews, I was asked about the skills I could bring to the company, why I was interested in EY GDS, my previous experiences, and to verify the information provided in my resume.

Typical technical questions, a little bit of personal questions (related to work, of course). I also got to ask the Senior that conducted the interview about tips and also what my career path would be.

Most of them were hypotheticals, and were used as means to explain how our work is conducted, what services we offer our clients, etc.

Like how I manage my time or do I want to learn something new and things like am I willing to take risk and be a better version of myself.

EY doesn't require that much when it comes to skills, but they want to know if one has the mind to lead a team.

Just be yourself and do not overthink your answers

I think candidates should really research the company's values and culture, as well as any recent developments, to show genuine interest and understanding during interviews. It's important to review the job description carefully and tailor their resume to highlight relevant experiences and achievements. Also, practicing responses to common interview questions and reflecting on specific examples that demonstrate their skills and accomplishments can help also help convey their suitability for the role confidently and effectively.

Study up on your desired department and be ready for unexpected questions

Research about the company, about SAP, and if their goals align with your career goals.

Just be yourself and answer everything truthfully

They should go to interviews as much as they can before applying to your dream/desired company to ease the nerves and to prepare well. Prepare for the technical questions and also prepare questions regarding the position you are applying for, the company, the culture, anything that will help you decide if you want to accept the job if ever you are given an offer.
