A Day in the Life at GMHBA

Here at GMHBA office, the flexibility of choosing my office area is something that I really enjoy.

Today we get to do something a bit different and do some volunteering! GMHBA has a great volunteering program where we get to spend some time helping at local charities and organisations.

One of the coolest things I’ve heard is how our team was responsible for stopping just under 10 million dollars’ worth of claims leakage last financial year.

Part of my role is to review extended intensive care, cardiac care, and mental health notification requests –  these are all very expensive claims!

Tuesdays are great days for collaboration, it’s one of the days where you get the most people in the office at the same time and can collaborate in person as opposed to over MS teams which I certainly prefer.

For today, this is building a new component for a new section of the website to display specific content based on the product and set values changed by a user, which also updates them when the user changes them.
