Promotions are based on Tier. Most of the performance reviews are derived from Snapshot, it is an internal platform used to rate engagement team members. The scale and scores are not fair for everyone, since some seniors and managers give only standard rates/scores no matter how well you perform. You're lucky if you've worked with generous seniors/managers. You'll likely climb the ladder faster than others.

I think good feedbacks from my higher-ups, thus, performance-based feedbacks would be the biggest criteria in promotion. As of now, I am still learning and enjoy learning other stuff in audit especially those accounts I have not handled in the past.

Career progression is somewhat steady, salary increase is not. As you progress, you are given more responsibilities yet the salary does not reflect that hence the attrition rate.

The coacing program of the firm really helped me move up the ranks. The coaches really aim for their coachee to be developed and get promoted.
