I think good feedbacks from my higher-ups, thus, performance-based feedbacks would be the biggest criteria in promotion. As of now, I am still learning and enjoy learning other stuff in audit especially those accounts I have not handled in the past.

Career progression is somewhat steady, salary increase is not. As you progress, you are given more responsibilities yet the salary does not reflect that hence the attrition rate.
