Application Process & Interviews at Isla Lipana & Co.

I was interviewed by the HC and was offered the position right after passing the boards. The process was smooth and the interviewer was not intimidating.

In my case, I was already handed a job offer after taking the assessment.

Personally, the retirement process was hassle-free and fast.

Hiring process involves: English Exam, Interview, Deliberations/Hiring Approval, and Job Offer. The English Exam is outdated. Hiring Approval is a bottleneck; Approvers sometimes dont prioritize it.

Interview process is quick. The Human Capital Team eagerly reaches out and updates the status of the application.

What I remember was that I was asked if I was willing to handle the busy season, which I confidently answered yes.

I wasn't asked for an interview.

The questions were more about personal topics and situations where an employee might possibly be in that position in the near future in the workplace.

I was asked about myself and how do I handle certain situations.

The interviewer had icebreaker questions which will relax you, so if I could give some advice, I'd say stay calm and compose as the HC in PwC are not there to intimidate or scare, they just want to get to know you, so just also be yourself and present your self well.

Focus on your strengths. Highlight the values and work ethic you would like to bring and practice in the company. Research also about the company you are applying. Nothing beats being prepared.

Just be yourself and answer all questions genuinely. No need to sugarcoat.

Be ready by searching about who the company is and what they offer. Study English and present yourself properly in a professional manner. Speak with confidence and be as honest as possible.
