We are hiring an eCommunications Surveillance Analyst who will undertake electronic communication surveillance of relevant trades (firm, client and employee) to identify potential market misconduct, insider trading and other control room issues.

In this role, you will manage the daily weekly volume of alerts, escalate matters of interest to the compliance manager (Manila and Sydney) and follow up on issues to a successful conclusion. You will also ensure that adequate documentation of alerts and their resolution, including generating reports on statistics and escalations are in place.

Approximately 20% of the time will be utilized in video conferences or over the phone discussions with Compliance Managers to discuss escalations, reporting and ideas around improving the program. You will maintain keyword lists used to identify suspicious eComms, working with local and global staff to improve the quality of alerts generated and remove 'false positives.

A successful candidate will have a strong analytical and investigative mindset, attention to detail, effective interpersonal skills and the ability to manage through the day today deadlines. We are looking for a resource who has the ability to develop relationships across various stakeholders.
