The Market Operations division within Corporate Operations Group provides independent specialist trade verification, confirmation and settlement facilities for a variety of products and currencies for many of Macquarie's businesses globally. The division provides a key segregated control function for wholesale businesses built on strong operational risk management and a control culture that is consistent and resilient.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Derivative and Trading Documentation team as an Associate.

Key Accountabilities

  • Draft and review ISDA legal confirmations across a variety of Derivative Products.
  • Draft, review and manage timely delivery of Warrant Documents for the warrant trading business in Sydney, Singapore, Malaysia. Hong Kong and Taiwan
  • Needs to be up to date on current ISDA practices in order to ensure that future industry developments are considered for incorporation into current Macquarie procedures.

Key Requirements:

  •  
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business related degree.
  • Experience in Derivatives and Equity markets and have a track record in supporting Equities, Futures and other exchange traded products is preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of operational risk.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Excellent Excel Skills, advance macro level and above
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships, while working independently in a high pressured environment
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and implement process improvement.
  • A flexible and pro-active approach.
  • Aptitude for new and varied systems.
