CGM EDT Middle Office Analyst null

We currently have a position available in the trade support team to support the Arbitrage trading desk within Commodities and Global Markets - Equity and Derivatives Trading (CGM EDT). The primary function of this role is to provide desk support to the trading desk and maintain correct information in CGM EDT's risk management system. The role is within the Market Operation Team who provides operational support to the CGM EDT trading businesses.

Key Accountabilities:

• Timely and accurate completion of all daily tasks to ensure correct information is recorded in CGM EDT's risk management system including but not limited to trade entry, monitoring of cash and position reconciliations, cash payments, rates maintenance.
• Timely response to all queries related to the information recorded in CGM EDT's risk management systems. This includes interactions with traders, finance, settlements staff, bookings, risk managers and external brokers.
• Specific experience in equity markets is desirable. Experience should cover cash equity and futures support.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in a business related degree.
• Experience in equity markets and have a track record in supporting Equities, Futures and other exchange traded products are preferred but not required.
• Solid understanding of operational risk.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Excellent Excel Skills, advance macro level and above
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships, while working independently in a high pressured environment
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and implement process improvement.
• A flexible and pro-active approach.
• Aptitude for new and varied systems.
• An understanding of depositary receipts and exchange traded funds would be preferable.
