Role Overview

  • Operations Planning - Acts as conduit between production plants and internal enablers
  • Finished Goods Delivery/ Critical Stocks Monitoring:
  • Coordinates with IPLM for the monthly production requirements
  • Coordinates with manufacturing plants for the delivery commitments
  • Summarizes actual deliveries of critical items and compares with the plants' commitments
  • Generates variance report comparing commitments against requirements
  • New Products Support
  • Ensures product availability to support product launch timelines
  • Coordinates with IPLM for the monthly production requirements of new products
  • Coordinates with manufacturing plants for the estimated delivery commitments
  • Monitors product in several production stages to ensure production activities are on track based on estimated timelines
  • Plant Volumes
  • Tracks plant volumes and achievement
  • Generates variance report comparing commitments against requirements
  • Plant Immersion
  • Familiarizes oneself with plant operations
  • Scheduling Oversight
  • Liaises with plant schedulers on critical stocks and new product development status
  • Suggests ways to improve engagements with other enablers to ensure smooth alignment of requirements and commitments
     

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Engineering
  • Fresh graduates are open to apply
  • With strong analytical skills, results-oriented and has excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to produce high quality reports and presentations
  • Ability to beat deadlines and perform multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent skills in time management
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • High level of integrity

Pros and cons of working at Unilab

Pros

  • I love the culture and people. I genuinely feel the "Alagang Unilab", because my colleagues are really caring and supportive. They've become my family, and we look after each other pretty well (always asking about how someone's doing and taking the time to help when in need) Another great thing about the company is the workplace environment; it's definitely a bonus to be working in a LEED-certified workplace (so clean and full of nature!)

  • Good working environment and good benefits.

  • Unilab gives a great training ground even among young individuals like me to showcase my talent and hone my skills.

Cons

    • I am office-based, and I think introducing more flexibility in our schedules/work hours could enhance the overall employee experience.

    • Not really the worst thing but something that can be improved on. Company can fast track digitization/ automation of some processes and invest on better ergonomic chairs to reduce risk of injuries and strain.

    • Not a competitive salary compared to other big companies.
