Corporate Services in the Company is delivered by the following divisions: Human Resources and Organization Development, Corporate Information Technology, Property Services, Legal Services, and External Affairs.
These functional groups play a central role in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive and integrated programs which support the strategic objectives of the business and drive the optimum performance of the organization.
FINANCE
Our Finance, Treasury, and Audit teams play a crucial role with respect to the fulfilment of Unilab's business strategies and financial goals.
These teams are responsible for the objective evaluation of the business' financial health, maintenance of financial records and statements, and execution of effective fund and investment management activities. They formulate guidelines and ensure proper compliance with company financial policies and government regulations.
MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS
Our Manufacturing Operations Division is primarily responsible for the production of Unilab products to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare solutions. They apply a full of a spectrum of manufacturing and maintenance programs, within established local and international quality standards, which will ensure the safety and efficacy of Unilab products.
Additionally, this division uses disciplined approaches to maintain state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, provide high-satisfactory levels of service, administer comprehensive contingency and recovery plans, and manage changes to the production environment.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
The primary role of our Quality Assurance and Control Team is to ensure the safety, integrity, and quality of every Unilab pharmaceutical product.
Through strict adherence to the regulatory requirements and international quality standards on drug development, production, and distribution, this division ensures that the company's products are fit for its intended use in terms of safety and efficacy, thereby protecting consumers. They adopt the best techniques and methodologies in testing products and verifying that the right ingredients are used to properly manufacture and deliver products to patients and customers.
SCIENCE AND RESEARCH
The Science and Research teams provide best-in-class clinical expertise and extensive experience in the research and development of Unilab's pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
These teams are responsible for the communication of product information with healthcare providers and patients. Furthermore, they take the lead in maintaining quality control standards in drug formulation. They are in charge of the technical investigation and testing in formulating new products and enhancing existing ones.
SUPPLY CHAIN
Our Supply Chain teams are behind the strategic sourcing and procurement of raw materials, general goods, equipment, and services that are needed to conduct the critical business operations of Unilab.
They apply calculated processes in the integration of production, logistics, and maintenance plans for the efficient flow of resources which will synchronize supply chain processes from purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and transportation of materials. They ensure the effective management of distribution centres and control the factors that lie between the accurate purchase and timely delivery of goods.
SALES AND MARKETING
The influence of Unilab's Sales and Marketing team is far-reaching, as they drive the development and execution of relevant market communications strategies and sales promotional programs which ultimately increase customer awareness about Unilab products.
Their functions range from analyzing market information and exploring opportunities and potential areas for business growth, to tracking industry trends and recommending the best sales and marketing solutions.
MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVES
Our Medical Representatives play a major part in achieving organizational goals by harnessing deep relationships with medical and allied health professionals through methods tailored to their specific needs.
They promote pharmaceutical and healthcare products, and they consistently conduct Customer Service and Relationship Marketing initiatives that satisfy the needs of customers. Moreover, they assess territorial sales performance, review competitor activities, identify gaps and growth opportunities, and implement appropriate action plans, with the end goal of delivering total sales and brand targets.
Planning to execution phase of all marketing programs while ensuring constant coordination with both internal and external customers.
My tasks basically revolve on providing key support to HR's role of designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated programs which support strategic business objectives and drive the optimum performance of Unilab. I believe I am able to give valuable contributions to my company, and I find my work really meaningful.

I love the culture and people. I genuinely feel the "Alagang Unilab", because my colleagues are really caring and supportive. They've become my family, and we look after each other pretty well (always asking about how someone's doing and taking the time to help when in need) Another great thing about the company is the workplace environment; it's definitely a bonus to be working in a LEED-certified workplace (so clean and full of nature!)

Unilab gives a great training ground even among young individuals like me to showcase my talent and hone my skills.
I am office-based, and I think introducing more flexibility in our schedules/work hours could enhance the overall employee experience.
Not really the worst thing but something that can be improved on. Company can fast track digitization/ automation of some processes and invest on better ergonomic chairs to reduce risk of injuries and strain.
Not a competitive salary compared to other big companies.
